PBL Students Suceed at State Leadership Conference

Phi Beta Lambda students attended the State Conference this past week in Columbus, MS. Please help us in congratulating our winners:

Hunter Thompson was elected State President of Phi Beta Lambda and received 1st place in Impromptu Speaking. Haley Lambert received 2nd place in Entrepreneurship Concepts. Chandler Wilder received 3rd place in Desktop Publishing.

Hunter and Haley will attend the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN this summer.

2014 Collegiate DECA Career Development Conference Winners

Marketing students have just returned from the 2014 Collegiate DECA Career Development Conference.

Aneysa Matthews placed 1st in Outstanding DECA Member, 1st in Sales Management Meeting, and 1st in Entrepreneurship.

Bill Carroll placed 1st in Human Resource Management and 1st in Professional Sales.

The NEMCC Marketing Chapter also returned with a certificate for their participation in the State Charity Project.

Aneysa and Bill will compete at the International Collegiate DECA Conference on April 23 - April 26 in Washington DC.

Last Day to Withdraw from eLearning Classes
The last day to withdraw from an eLearning class is Thursday, November 6th.
Thanksgiving Holidays
Thanksgiving Holidays will begin on Thursday, November 20 at 5:00 p.m. The college will be closed Monday, November 24 through Thursday, November 27. Classes will resume Monday, December, 1.
Last Regular Class Meeting Evening/eLearning Classes
Day classes will conclude for the semester on Thursday, December 4th.

Day classes will conclude for the semester on Monday, December 8th.
Final Exams
Final exams are scheduled for December 8th through December 11th.
Christmas Holidays
All college offices will be closed for Christmas Holidays beginning December 22nd.
